Video Rating: 4 / 5
www.toolking.com Makita’s Lithium Ion powered BDF452HW is one of the smallest 18v drills currently available. It’s available now from ToolKing.com ( view the product here: www.toolking.com )
Have you ever used a drill? Chucks gotta be tight bud.
this a downgraded version of the bdf454rfe. the bdf454 has a heavier duty all metal gear box.
forest gump and bill looks like he forced it on the bolt
Very nice demonstration and you prepared very will with your video, I hope I can do this also…. Very good!!
What is the difference between the BDF452RFE and BDF452HW, tha blue and white model. is the white model is made in China, while the blue model in Japan?
Bosch are the best!
your voice is focked up
he sounds like forest gump haha
crazy music at the end… freaked me out!! but good review!

makita is a japanese company.
makita tools and products are made all over the world
makita is a canadian brand, their might be an agent near you
probably are, i’m just not looking hard enough
isnt there any makita agents near you?
can you ship to Australia?
else,
anyone know where i can get one here in Australia, NSW, Sydney
This drill looks golden. I heard these batteries only last about 8 months to a year with regular use though.
I have the makita 18 volt drill and 18 volt impact. Works awesome, light and alot of power, batteries last a long time. At my old job, one of my co-workers had a 18 volt dewalt and his batties would die out before mine, i’m serious.
Dewalt
I got this drill about a year ago .. .. fucking rocks!!! I’m a carpenter and Ive burt out two Dewalts 18v. this is so light & powerfull good all rounder when you have a lot to carry. I alsot has a GREAT belt clip attachment, trust me this is handy a fuck when your op a ladder and need to your hands etc. … its so much easier than having a holster on yr tool belt.. ..

@juggernautxtr No need to name-call, man. We just had different experiences, that’s all. Doesn’t make me or anyone else a moron. I like quality, and I’m willing to pay for it. Nothing more, nothing less. Grow up, man. Only teenagers and insecure adults name-call. Have a good one…
@opsdaddy why i am on my second one and it’s 5 yrs. old and still watching morons replace dewalts every year? you fail at proving anything.
sorry moron you wanna beleive the hype you go right the hell ahead and beleive that.
and i’ll sit back and watch all you fools spending your money on overpriced crap.
@juggernautxtr you sir, were extremely lucky with your Ryobi, that’s all. As a brand, Ryobi builds some of the poorest engineered, lightest duty tools around. If you keep betting on such a crap brand, it will surely let you down. Makita tools are some of the best built around. Along with Milwaukee, Bosch, DeWalt, which are other branded tools I’ve purchased. Good luck on your next Ryobi purchase… you’re gonna need it.
Bosch 18v has 500 in lbs torque.
There have been times when i need to finish a job and just 4 or 5 more screws would do it, i need a drill that can be pluged into a cord to finish the job, like a dc converter of sorts , i see what looks like a plug outlet on the handle of this drill ,is that what it is?
I just used one from another job site contractor and it is superior to my Dewalt. A very short nose for tight spaces and the light shines bright in dark places. Now I can see the work in dark tight places without holding/hanging a trouble light ! I am sold !
This is the the most hand-friendly unit out there.
The Impact driver is a must-have as well.
Like one chap said, ” They got the ergonomics perfect on this drill” !
.
Here’s a tip, fellas, If you need to drive spade bits concrete or steel all day, go electric. Most all cordless are not designed for prolong abuse.
get a Fein or a Metabo guys, but no Li Ion !
sorry i have been an electrician for 15 yrs. i have watched many of these high priced pieces of crap go to the garbage while i was still using a ryobi that had been around for 8 yrs. when it died after some major abuse. when it died they made fun of me then i reminded them they only had their drill for 4-5 months whilst mine was 8 yrs. old. the laughing stopped. hyped up crap is just that hyped up crap.
get a dewalt xrp nano, or a v28,if you want a real drill. i agree its made for small projects, makitas just cant handle heavy loads,or getting droped for that matter.
fuck this drill is mint for drywall 3 pounds you can hold it in ur fucking mouth makita FTE
A couple years have now passed.
Time has shown these batteries do not last. Do a search on google and you will see.
I had a battery go out after 8 months of professional use.
My old Makita 18volt with NiMi batteries lasted for 3 years before a battery went bad.
Perhaps it’s time for another Makita Model 6347DWDE.
visit makitadrill(.)com for all your makita needs
i have a over 10 year old makita that is still running as new. Though i´ve heard the newer ones might not be as sturdy
_____(((Makita = SHIT!!!
Had 3 of these Makita drills
1. batteries melt
2. motor started to smoke and then died
3. last drill just died!
Get a dewalt DCD950/970 XRP which i did, and never had a problem! Dewalt also are more powerful and batteries last longer! as you can see with lots of comparing videos on youtube.
i also like Milwaukee and (blue) bosch.
AY! Give my Makita back Mac!! :p
Makita Cordless Tools are proven in Automotive factories. Car manufacturer says only Makita can last long enough in tough assembilng usage condition. Bosch’s are like a toy. Be smart to buy real professional tools!!
these drills burn out there good just they burn out to fast
I have one and I would say it OK but not the best. plus my charger stop working after 1yr. that sucked
