  1. finally a good video about makita :D

  2. A bit of an abrupt end to this video but apart from thet the demo backed up what is a very good combi drill

  3. That would be scary. Back in the early 90′s, a friend of mine just finished up a cut and didn’t realize the gaurd didn’t come back down. As he was setting the saw down, it cut right into his leg. I forget how many stiches or what brand of saw he was using, but just goes to show, you never know and always have to be careful.

  4. the concrete part is very impressive, i tried a rona one going through concrete, fuk this ones the real deal. lol makita the classic tools…deadly. one thing that happened with the makita skill saw, the guard didnt flick back when i was done my cut, oohly dam dude that was some scary shit with a jumping skill saw

  5. He is correct, follow the direction of rotation, not the print or sticker when installing a blade. Tips of teeth should strike the material, not the rounded edge.

  6. Regarding blades for this saw, the arrow points clockwise, is it possible to put other blades on ie arrow points anti clockwise, noticed this on a few sites –> THIS BLADE IS EXACTLY THE SAME SPECIFICATION AS THE REPLACEMENT BLADE FOR THE BSS610 LXT SAW ( arrow clockwise) BUT MUST BE MOUNTED WITH THE GRAPHIC FACING INWARDS

  7. Thanks for the instructions

  8. Thanks for this, just got my self the same saw and didn’t know how to stop the blade turning while tightening the centre bolt

  9. SEXY!
