   ….i wouldn’t be doing that stuff in front of the little lady, i took a chunk out of my hand a couple times, you don’t want her to see that…

   Thanks for leaving a comment on “Old Table Saw”. Yep, I was just screwing around for the camera, though I must admit that I did not know it was bad to use miter and fence together at the time, so thanks for educating me. My daughter is a beautiful 13 years old now. LOL, and she doesn’t seem to have any traumatic memories of my early days in the construction business.

   As the others have said, using the miter gauge and the fence is a bad idea. You should either use the miter gauge or the fence, but not both at the same time. By doing that you are asking for a kickback.

    Miter gauge used with fence, BAD idea!
    Couldn’t you of used a drill to get it spinning or wrapped a string around lawn mower style? Then you can say you have a pull start table saw!

    What’s really creepy is that you are actually beaming with pride at the end of this video as if you’ve accomplished some kind of award-winning invention. The simple fact is, just seeing that you still have this video up for the world to witness your unequaled idiocy, shows that you are not only a stoopy, but a stoopy that doesn’t know he’s a stoopy – the worst kind.

    Dude….don’t ever cut a board with the miter gauge against the fence like that…it tends to go boom and break things.
